I really dislike the Sony bluetooth headphones, and much prefer the Dell ones I have.
The sonys feel like rickity junk, with awkward poor build quality feeling controls. they have one advantage: they can be recharged with yet another wall-wart, instead of a usb cable. they have another disadvantage: they have a bright flashing blue LED, which can annoy sighted partners at night. Here is a link to that presentation, in case you would like to listen to the part about the headphones again: http://www.gwmicro.com/Audio_Video_Archive/Presentations/audio/booksenseunve iling.mp3 At the time, GW Micro had said they are selling a pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones for $39, but they were a pair that would cost $90 or $100 in an electronics store such as Best Buy. I have not verified the accuracy of this statement, nor do I know which specific model they are/were selling, nor do I know if they are still offering these same headphones for the $39 price. I am sure you could call them to find out more. Hope this helps, Suleyman http://twitter.com/hllf ----- Original Message ----- From: EVAN REESE <mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, November 17, 2009 10:26 PM Subject: [GW-Booksense] Stereo Mike Suggestions Does anyone remember the specifics of the stereo mike Raul mentioned in the presentation on June 30? Or, does anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably good stereo mike I could buy myself, or put on my Christmas wish list, for the Book Sense? I don't need it for anything in particular; I just want one to do some casual recording, but that will give a decent fidelity. Thanks much.
