Some of it might depend on the kind of headphones you are
using. With really good headphones, it does sound kind of
tin-canny. I have a pair of headphones that sold for about $500 ten
years ago, and a pair of ear buds by Sony that I bought for about
fifty bucks a couple of years ago. The ear buds sound great through
the booksense with the equalizer settings. The really good ones make
the music sound crappy. I'm okay with that. I'll save the good ones
for the good stereo.
