Hello Keith. When I mentioned the sleep timer teaser, I mentioned that
you can press the number 4 key for 2 seconds and input a sleep timer
amount in minutes. I may not have added the following, so I apologize.
You can press the number 4 key for 2 seconds any time after that and
either enter 0 to disable, or enter a new value to set the sleep timer
to that new value.
We are hoping to release this new firmware in December, but I don't have
a more specific date as yet.

Having said this, if the new sleep timer function includes a bug fix that
allows the timer to be reset or terminated after the first set =, then I
suppose having a time remaining indicator will not be as important.

HI folks. I really liked the Thanksgiving teaser. I can invision
myself using it a lot. I would like to address last week's teaser.
Raul said that when browsing through the items in the record folder we
can hear the first 5 seconds of the files. I would like the ability to
able or or disable this feature. I don't see a practical use for this
feature but some might so if the feature can be turned off for those
of us who won't use it and left on for those who like it that would be
great. A suggesting I would like to give is a revision to how
bookmarks are set. Currently when you press the 1 key the BookSense
asks for a number. I would rather if when I press the 1 key the
BookSense will tell me what number mark is set. For example if I'm
setting a mark in a book and press the 1 key it will say mark 1 set.
If this feature is implemented setting marks would be faster and
people can still use the number 2 key to move quickly to marks. Thanks
all for reading and I would appreciate your thoughts on what I ranted
about.
