Hi,
I don't have the icom, so cannot comment on that one, but hopefully it
can pair and work. However, I do have the beetle here which I use
through t-colils. It pairs very well with the booksense and the music
sounds very good. The neckloop works well as do the ear hooks which
allow for stereo listening. I use it all the time.
Try some experimentation do see if the booksense can see the icom
and then try to pair. I don't know if you have any other bluetooth
devices such as a braillesense plus or perhaps a voice sense, but you
can also use either of those to determine whether or not the icom is in
discover mode even though you can't pair with it.
Also, if you have a braillenote or pk, that may also see the icom.
Hope you have success.

Hi all.
I think that it is great that the BookSense supports Bluetooth headphones,
and I wonder if hearing aid wearers have used bluetooth devices to connect
their Booksense to their hearing aids.
Specifically: I have relatively new Phonak hearing aids which are supplied
with a device called Icom - which allows for the hearing aids to connect
via
Bluetooth to cellphones and many other devices.
The icom's paring arrangements are not accessible, so before I try myself I
wonder if others have had luck setting things up with or without sighted
assistance.
Many thanks.
Vaughan.
