I for one have got used to the layout and don't think there is really a
compelling argument for change. Already: some buttons have double features
for functions like indexing etc, so great care needs to be had when layout
changes are considered.
The recent Access World review rates th eBook Sense's navigation facilities
as inferior to those of the Stream, so one objective must be to work out
whether navigation features can be improved upon. I think the current
button layout allows for possible enhancements to navigation more easily
than any real alteration of features from one button to another.

I like the idea of the play button being in the middle of the navigation
keys in theory, but on the other hand, I like the power button being on the
side right where it is.I kind of wish the power button was its own button
anyway, and not the same as play/pause. Then, of course, the question would
be where the menu button went. Maybe mak it the clock button and then you
make the long press to get the clock?
It probably doesn't matter anyway, because I'm guessing that they can't
change the function of buttons anyway, but it's definitely an interesting
thought.

Hello,

I would like to suggest swapping the menu and play keys on the Book Sense.
This would put the play key in the middle of the navigation keys, which I
think would be a good change.

What do others think?

John
