My upgrade went flawlessly for my Standard model and I also really like the new firmware. Some little touches, such as it not saying "pause" when I pause during reading, and the new way it gives info on elapsed time and time remaining when you hit the 0 key, and not hearing the book title twice, and the new speed increment are among some of the things I like. Being able to move by five seconds instead of one minute in NLS books was one of my most wanted changes. Thanks also for the RFB&D support; and I'm now very much looking forward to when RFB&D does their part of making it possible to download their books to the Book Sense.

I kind of wish, if they were gonna lower the volume a bit, that they had fixed the volume differential between the TTS volume and that of NLS books first. That way, even if they had lowered the maximum volume, NLS books would still probably be louder than they were before.

That said, I think this is a great upgrade. Clearly, a lot of thought and time, and listening to customer feedback, went into making this a better product than the great one it already was.

Subject: [GW-Booksense] 2.0 firmware

Hello folks. I love the new firmware! It seems like it is very stable.
If you remember I use to have problems with music playing in the
correct order but now those issues haven't risen in the new firmware.
Now if we had protected WMA support that would make this device
perfect. Thanks for the great work GW and HIMS.
