Hello. It was removed because of many complaints and confusion. So if
you want the old behavior, you will need to copy it to the record folder.
On the other hand, if you copy it to the podcasts/Audio books/movies
folders, the file if played by itself will have its position remembered.
if played as part of a folder with other files, all of them will be
treated as 1 item.
So if you want the old behavior, the record folder is your best option.

have many long files that I like storing in the music folder and like
the auto placeholding feature that allows me to return to that
particular place without having to insert a marker each time.
