Hi. Most traditional PDF files work fine with adaptive software, but I have
never gotten an eBook that required the Digital Editions plug-in to work with a
screen reader. If you have, I would love to know the trick. If screen readers
can read Digital Editions format, maybe someone can take it a step further and
make those files readable on our readers.

Hello,
I believe it depends on what the author puts in the protected PDF
file. Many PDF files these days read just fine with screen readers
like Magic, and JAWS, atleast that has been my experience.
