Hello. One thing to keep in mind is that if you drop your BookSense, there's a chance that something may become loose inside. The parts inside are extremely small and this will not be covered by the warranty. One other thing to keep in mind is that if you carry your BookSense in your pocket or in a purse, there's a chance that some lint or other small foreign object may get stuck in the USB port, AC port or one of the top jacks. So if you will be doing this, we recommend you put the BookSense inside the carrying pouch as this is the reason it was included.

Of course the best thing to do is to use a BookSense case, but that makes it a bit bulky and not the best for a pocket.

Many thanks.

I seem to recall discussion in the original Booksense unvailing
recording last June/July where one of the GW Micro people said that
they had dropped their unit from a height of 2 or 3 feet and it came
out in good working order. AS Diane said though, this isn't something
that i would purposely do, but it's good to know that the Booksense
appears to be durable in this regard.

Subject: [GW-Booksense] drop test

Hi folks. I was wondering if any of you have dropped your BookSense or
if GW has conducted a drop test. If the answer is yes to any of these
questions I would be interested in knowing the result. Thanks.

Louis
