Bookshare is a tremendous source of digital books and magazines. They have all of the New York Times Best Sellers these days, lots of textbooks provided by the publishers, and a variety of magazines and newspapers including the daily and Sunday New Yorkt Times, the Economist, and a variety of local papers (provided by a partnership with NFB).
You can download all the books you want in either DAISY or BRF format for $50 per year. -----Original Message----- From: Robert Clark [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, January 31, 2010 12:58 PM To: BookSense Subject: Re: [GW-Booksense] BookSense and Serotek So Sonnet is one more source for digital books. I am mor einto reading books on a braille note taker because I can take it anywhere and read. Wiht audio books I would only read at home or if I am in a situation where I dont need to be listening to what is going on around me. I plan to get on BARD but if I wanted one good source that I had to pay for, what would it be? With the Booksense, I expect I will want to put it to good use. Quote of the nanosecond. . .
