Hi. If I press play on a folder of an audio book with many audio files, the BookSense might play pregress tones to indicate that it's busy, doing something. In this case, loading the book. usually though, if there are not that many audio files which make up my book, there are no beeps or maybe just 1 or 2 beeps. I once loaded a book made up of 700 files and it took a while. So I used Mergemp3.exe to make the book into 35 files instead of 700 small files and the book loaded much faster.

Many thanks.

I wonder if different things happen to different people. For instance,
when I play an audio book, a lot of times when it loads, it makes a
funny sound and locks up and I have to do a reset. I think when an audio
book is loading, the Booksense should say loading, just like it does
with the NLS books. I usually put my audio books in their folders, and
hit the ok button on the folder. Then it acts like it’s loading, even
though it doesn’t say “loading”. Then a lot of times it will make that
funny sound and the loading sound continues until I do a reset. Anyone
else experience this? It could be just my particular Booksense. I’ve not
experienced many of the other things that people describe. They might be
issues that happen only to certain people. WHAT HAPPENS WITH MY
Booksense might not happen to someone else’s Booksense. Get what I mean?

Hi, sometimes when the alarm goes off... and it says, "press ok or
cancel to shut off the alarm" it doesn't work until ok or cancel is
pressed a few times. Is this something that could be fixed in future
releases?
