I should think that the Book Reading Device itself would then have to be capable of opening those files which might require far too much memory to be practical for this particular incarnation of the hardware.
Having said that, and using BookShare as I do because of my hearing foibles, I find the NLS downloads time consuming at best, especially when they are holding many of the same titles I can grab quickly from BookShare. I usually go into BookShare, and select a number of titles which with Windows 7 go into my download folder. I take a few minutes to do the unzip procedure, copy the books and put them on my Book Sense. I find this goes quickly enough when I consider that many years ago, I had to wait until I got the talking book or had to sit up there scanning it myself which was fine too. Again, it will never be like having 20/20, but I will happily take what I can get, and for me this is good for now! Case in point is the NLS books or bookshare. __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 4852 (20100209) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
