I would duppose the best way to answer that would be to say that it would depend upon whether you download DAISY text files like I do with BookShare or DAISY audio files as with NLS which I also do from time to time. DAISY text requires the speech synthesizer built into the device. Audio DAISY is recorded material with human narrators.
