Lithium ion batteries do not have the memory issues that NiCads do. So recharging at any time is quite a good idea and thus, no need to allow a device to go dead.

I gather the batteries on portable devices like the BSXT can have memory in which case they need to be fully or almost fully discharged before a recharge to retain their usable period per charge and prevent deterioration. or does the BS battt have no memory allowing me to recharge it at any state of the battery without any deterioration of batt performance?
