Hello. You should read section 2.1 of the BookSense manual where it talks
about what folders are for what purpose. In addition, I believe that either
kb1102 or kb1103 also explains this.

Basically the purpose for the audible folder is to contain your activation
key. This is the only thing which must be in this folder. In order to play
Audible titles, it's recommended to place the .aa or .aax files in audio
books, or inside any other supported folder for the media player. If you use
the Audible manager, it creates a subfolder called AudibleBooks inside the
Audio Books folder.
