Hello. Yes it will. Just so you and everyone knows, the next firmware is
going to be more of a maintenance release. This means no new features
and nothing hugely added in the way of enhancements. We took this
approach because we wanted to get things put into this which didn't make
version 2.0. I cannot give all the new features and enhancements just
yet, but I can safely say that pressing number 9 for 2 seconds while
listening to a daisy book with both text and audio will toggle. One
thing to keep in mind is that the RFB&D audioplus daisy books are audio
only, yet they have a text component. So this hot key will unfortunately
allow you to switch because it sees that text is available, yet when you
do, the only text in the book is the page numbers. We tried this on
other daisy devices and it appears to be an RFB&D book issue.
