Hi

When you are in the media player, the daisy folder is ignored. When you are in the daisy player the booksense ignores the folders used by the media player.

So, you need to put bookshare books, for example, inside the daisy folder. The sub folders such as the bookshare folder are placed in the daisy folder for user convenience. But, you are correct that each daisy book, whether bookshare nls or whatever must have all it's files contained in one sub-folder. I'd put the sub-folder for each bookshare book inside the bookshare sub-folder of daisy just for convenience sake. Then, when you want to play the book, just hit play on the folder containing the files for that book.

And, you're right. Putting all files for all books into a single folder would really be a mess and would be likely not to work anyway.

Hi all --
In the manual last night I thought I read that subdirectories were ignored
by the reader for files under the standard folders.
Does this mean simply that the reader navigates through them to get to the
relevant files? or does it mean I have to copy and paste my unzipped
bookshare files to the reader directly? If the latter, I think the reader is
a bit inconvenient.
I have folder names of the form
title_of_book__Laura_Eaves
containing the 6 or so files for the book. Won't these clash with files from
other books if I paste them into one big flat folder on the reader?
Tell me I can just copy the directory onto the reader and not mess with the
files...
Just thought I'd ask.
Take care.
