I have had some books recently from Book Share in DAISY format that have been the pits to move through because they may not have pages marked or the page numbering is goofy and doesn't reflect what is there. I lost my place and had to fiddle around locating my place again, but was finally able to do it.
Let me see. The author was Stephen White and the book was called THE PROGRAM. It is one of the Allen Gregory mysteries. Now, this happened to be a book I had downloaded from Book Share a couple of years ago or so. I deleted and recently re-downloaded it. So, it may be an older book which went into the system before they refined things. It was a little work, but I was able to get back to where I wanted to be. Yes, specific books when they don't navigate properly is always the best. We have seen especially with daisy, that some books navigate better than others. daisy's standards don't seem to be standard and so this could explain the issues. So pointing out that one particular book does not navigate well with BookSense but it does with Stream won't help us unless we know the book since it's not a situation where it happens to all books. Many thanks. On 3/23/2010 10:31 AM, Butch Bussen wrote: > I've lost speech, actually, had it lock up which is a better > description, clock wouldn't even work.
