Is HIMS or GWMicro seriously thinking of making the booksense a mobile phone? I would like to point out that nuance puts out a daisy reader called d2go or something like that. So my Nokia phone with its mp3 player and daisy reader and knfb reader and phone is kind of a comprehensive device. But I have never tried the daisy reader and have no idea of its quality. As for eloquence in talks, it sounds exactly like the eloquence on my computer, to the point where other people comment on it. Kind of funny. Like it or not, I think eloquence has been pounded on more than any other software synth and so can do things others can't do well. Someone mentioned misspelling words to get them pronounced right -- actually I find that jaws with eloquence will not pronounce most words correctly unless they are spelled correctly. It helps when typing or proofreading new text. Anyway, the other synths sound good, but not at high speeds. They will have to sacrifice a little of their natural quality to successfully match eloquence's clarity at high speeds. Now on to other topics... --le
