Hi all
Is any development being done on the TTS used by the BookSense and could we
expect an update of it some time? I am asking, because, although on the whole
it sounds fine, it does mispronounce some very common words rather
irritatingly. For example, listen to some words containing the string "ter",
such as "laughter", "interest", "afternoon" some words containing the string
"ber" as in "October" and many words ending in "ing" sounding more like they
end in "mb". I really hope this could be addressed as it rather marrs reading
pleasure at times.
Having said that, I feel purchasing the BookSense has been one of my best
purchases for a long time.
Kind regards
Christo de Klerk
