Aaron,
Since I usually have a lot of files, I would like to have them sorted. I like
an alphabetical sort, but I'm wondering if it is possible to pick up whatever
order the user has set from within the operating system for the folder that is
being scanned. If not, maybe you could put in the common selection choices:
name, date, type, size, etc.

Right now, there is no sort order; they show up in whatever order the .NET
File object happens to get them. Because of first letter navigation (as you
mentioned), I didn't bother to come up with a sort routine. If you think that's
necessary, I can make it happen.

What criteria does BookSense Buddy use to sort files? When I look at my
Audible download folder in Windows Explorer using Windows XP Home Edition, it
is sorted by Name in alphabetical order. With this type of sort, books that
have more than one part are adjacent in the list. When I look at the same
listing in BookSense Buddy while filtering for Audible files, I haven't yet
been able to figure out the pattern. The files just seem to be scattered,
although there are some grouped together with the same first letter. Scattered
among these groups are other files whose first letters are elsewhere in the
alphabet. Date and size don't seem to play a part in this random sort either.
Fortunately, first-letter navigation does work.
