I talked to technical support today about a Bluetoot problem. When
trying to reconnect Bluetooth once paired. I have not been able to
get this to work without resetting the Bookscence every morning when
I reconnect. This is very annoying.. Technical support said that
usually turning Bluetooth off and on works. That is hold 6
down. It down to turn Bluetoot off and then again to turn it back
on, That did not seem to wokr for me.
After I thought about what technical suppoort said and about it and
knowing another problem I relized that if the Bookscence is not
playing something it will appear to have not connected.
The problem is combining with another issue with Bluetoot. That
is if nothing is playing (i.e. paused), Bluetoot will switch off. So
it was connecting and then
quickly disconnecting. PLEASE GET BLUETOOT WORK. Yes I shouted taht
I know I should not. But it has been a year now. Version 1.1
was literally unusalbe, 2.0 atleast works but with the above
problem. I don't know if 2.1 fixed anything more on Bluetoot. I am
running 2.1
Of course we are also still working for complete implementation of
Bluetooth so we can control the Bookscence with the headset
controls. Any ETA on that?
Finally since it is taking so long to get the Bookscence working
correctly could we atleast get a list of know bugs and any work
around for them. For example the above workaround for connecting
Bluetoot would be
1) Start Bookscence playing something
2) Turn Bluetoot off
3) Turn Bluetoot on
