I posted the review for the GW Micro case. It wasn't the strap that
broke. There isn't a strap for that case. It was the belt clip that
broke. The clip is either glued or stitched to a plastic flap. The
weight of the BookSense pulls the clip loose from the flap when you
clip it to either a belt or strap. In my opinion, it is a serious
design flaw. I also have the Executive Products case. The belt clip
is riveted to the back of the case and is very sturdy. The same
thing could be done with the GW Micro case. In fact, that is how my
husband intends to repair it. I do much prefer the over-all design
of the GW Micro case, however.
As for the lanyard, that's a good question I don't have the answer to.
