It's a little cumbersome, but since that doesn't exist right now, you could set an alarm on the Book Sense to do the same thing.

Hi.

I got my Booksense XT this summer after having been a Victor Stream user for
a couple of years. I like most things about the Booksense much better, even
though a few of them took some getting used to.

There is one feature I really miss from the VRS, however. The sleep timer
on the VRS gives you a one-minute warning before powering the unit off.
There is then a single key to re-set the sleep timer.

I use the sleep timer on the Booksense a lot, but often find I'm not quite
done reading (i.e. I'm not asleep yet) when the time I've set it for
expires. I then have to wake up enough to power it back on and set the
sleep timer again.

I wish there was an option to have it give some warning that it was about to
shut down (perhaps just a little beep?) and a quick way to re-set the timer;
something like a one-key feature which would repeat the previous setting.

It's a minor thing, but it sure would be nice not to have to power back on
and go through enough keystrokes to wake back up completely just to get a
few more minutes of reading or radio-listening in.

Otherwise, I'm really enjoying my new "toy."
