Hi Keith,
If you haven't done this, try holding down the 4 key and then press the
reset button briefly with a toothpick or whatever. Continue holding
down the 4 key for about 20 seconds or until you hear the startup chime.
This probably will do it for you.
Your basic settings will revert to default, but you won't loose any data
on your flashdisk.
Just to be sure you have enough power, it's not a bad idea to have the
booksense plugged in when you do this. If you're sure you have a good
battery charge, it isn't absolutely necessary to have the unit plugged
into AC power.
Also, just in case, before you do this make sure you didn't accidently
press the lock switch down. I've done that before and then wondered why
my booksense wouldn't work. <smile>
