Hi Keith,

If you haven't done this, try holding down the 4 key and then press the reset button briefly with a toothpick or whatever. Continue holding down the 4 key for about 20 seconds or until you hear the startup chime. This probably will do it for you.

Your basic settings will revert to default, but you won't loose any data on your flashdisk.

Just to be sure you have enough power, it's not a bad idea to have the booksense plugged in when you do this. If you're sure you have a good battery charge, it isn't absolutely necessary to have the unit plugged into AC power.

Also, just in case, before you do this make sure you didn't accidently press the lock switch down. I've done that before and then wondered why my booksense wouldn't work. <smile>

Hi,

nothing is working. It worked great and I did not have any accidents with
it. What to try next? I'd like to keep the content on the device, if
possible. Plugging in a USB cable does not allow me to access the content
either.

Thanks for any help,

Keith
