Steve, this is a bug which we can reproduce and which has been reported.
Unfortunately it's been there since version 2.0 and we have not been
able to fix it as yet. The trick around this is to press the cancel
button first to close the book and this will insure the position is
saved. This way if your Bluetooth connection is dropped, you don't lose
your place.

Regarding loosing your place in general however, using firmware 2.1 I
cannot reproduce any loss of position in books. The few times I have
seen this has been if there is an error in the SD card which a scandisk
might fix. Of course you want to also make sure your SD card is not
write protected.
