If you go to the Miscelanious section check your options and make sure your
show balon tips is unchecked. It may have become checked some how. I am not
having that problem since upgrading to window eyes 7.0 beta 1.

  Subject: Commodo Firewall, and WE

Anyone had success with the popup windows, that Comodo Firewall seems to love
to scatter on the screen.

I installed the FW, while still running WE6.1. It worked OK. Yu had to
ALT-TAB once in a while, so as to check if the FireWall defense had popped up a
window, calling for your attention. If you didn't pay attention, you could
still operate the other windows onscreen.

Now, as I installed WE7, these message dialogs of Comodo, causes big trouble.
Many times, they even causes the speech to disappear, and even the Braille
display seems to freeze, every now and then. This morning, I had a couple of
frustrating hours, trying to get to one of these popup dialogs, that came on
screen, each time I started my computer. Not even easy to find it with the
mousekeys. Seems, to me, that WE7 handles the screen slightly different, and
that is what causes the trouble; since it worked somehow more smoothly under
WE6.1.

My wish is to know, if anyone has had any success in having WE discover, when
these popups appear. For insance, when someone drops me a message on Windows
Messenger, WE will tell me that Messenger 'wants attention'. How great it would
be, if WE could have told me when Comodo asks for my attention, or even took me
to the dialogs. Can this be fixed with a script?

As it is, I ended up turning off the Defense of Comodo. But that means the
computer is left partially protected.

  Any inputs, welcome!
