You should never need to kill weserv. Just use
pskill -t wineyes
and that should kill wineyes.exe and the WE process tree.

More often than not when I try to unload the beta because it has
hung, I cannot restart WE without getting a "unable to set hook
in..." message. The approach I take to unloading is:
1. Running the WE command wineyes.exe /k - in this case, the hook
message points to wineyes and, after clicking the ok button, WE seems to load.
2. Using pskill to kill the processes - in this case, the hook
message points to weserv and WE does not load. I have tried both
of the following approaches:
(a) pskill -t weserv
(b) pskill weserv
pskill wineyes
I have also used the task manager to kill the process tree with
similar results to using pskill.
Can you advise what I may be doing wrong, eg killing the processes
in the wrong order or suggest some other way of unloading/reloading
WE without having to reboot, please.
Thanks in advance.
