Hi Angelo,
you can remove the old eloquence Version 5 from within the Add/Remove
programs under your control panel, or by using this very fine script called
add remove programs.

Cheers,

Angelo,

The new eci Eloquence 6.1 that Window-Eyes 7.0 beta 1 ships is NOT
compatible with the 5.0 SAPI Eloquence that Window-Eyes pre 7.0 shipped. If
you enumerate over the SAPI engines and then go to the eci Eloquence engine
then you will not see any engines. It is also possible when yous tart
combining them both that your system will become unstable. So it is very
important to remove the 5.0 SAPI Eloquence if you plan on using the eci
Eloquence.

Regards,
Doug

Hi I recently had a loss of speech, I switched to sapid hoping to get some
speech back in order to not lose my work, and notice after a reboot even
though the new eloquence was listed, there is no installed engines, and
trying to select it anyways cause windoweyes to shut down...
do I need a reinstall? and if so will I lose all my settings? and installed
scripts?
has this happen before to anyone?
