My situation is a bit unique because I am a dealer/distributor of durable medical equipment and supplies and I have to contend with CMN's, eligibility verifications, transmissions of claims to Payers via clearing houses, the filling of the CMS-1500 form, and lots more. Whilst much of this can be done in the back office, there will be that individual who is NOT a Medicaid/Medicare/Insurance client who would come in to pick up Tagaderm, test strips, six-pak of Ensure, ETC.
