Yes true. But, I'm talking about windows screen reader not other OS. Mac,
Linux is only toy OS that isn't Main Stream for most as of yet.

And besides that, I have no use for a mac or linux, as they are nearly
impossible to get Braille to work on them without major assistance for a deaf
person. *smile*

  Peace.

If you want to use 64-Bit operating systems then the only accessible one's
are Leopard on the Mac and various forms of LINUX, both of which have
absolutely nothing to do with Window-Eyes <smile>.

No kidding, I've been wishing one of the screen readers jump the 64 bit
world. Sadly, I can only predict this will likely be another 4 or 6 years down
the road the way things are going. Since, I know the next Windows that is
coming out late next year will still be 32 Bit and 64 bit again. What gets me,
is a lot of Companies are switching to the 64 bit train, yet every screen
readers is so far behind. And there isn't so much different between the two
Version. Other then 64 Bit codeing and more ram and so forth. Lets see if I
remember correctly the first 64 Bit XP came out in what 2004? It's been nearly
5 years and it's taking that long to make a screen reader work in 64 bit? I
was kind of hoping 7.0 of window eyes would jump that bar and make FS fall way
behind again as they did with vista coming out. Who knows maybe it's one of
the surprise of 8.0?

Either way, I don't care so much to worry about it, since I'm happy with 32
bit at the moment, and only wish GW or somebody figure out how to make Windows
Home Server Consul work for a screen reader as this is a windows product that
is catching on like wild-fire as of late.

Since I run one and love the heck out of it being able to have over 5 TB of
redundant backup of everything and able to restore a computer over the network.

  Peace.

In the market for a new computer and am finding that a lot of the big box
stores are selling the majority of their systems with Vista 64 bit. It also
seems that these are the best price machines.

I want to encourage GW to get going on supporting 64 bit OS.
