I sometimes have problems with those links that open up menus of more links underneath. This is ie7 and wineyes 6.1; I often get the loading page message forever and have to alt tab out and back in again and then the page is there with the links. Weirdness. Sometimes I just have to go in and out of browse mode for things to refresh which is also annoying. This happens worse if I have more than one ie window open; it's often the second ie window that has the problem. If I click a link in it browse mode doesn't go back on, I have to turn it off and on again otherwise I am still reading the old page. I don't think this will help the firefox issues, but just something I've been meaning to mention for awhile.

Subject: Firefox Issues

Hello all,

When viewing the release notes for Firefox 3.0.1 while using Firefox 3 at this URL:
http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0.1/releasenotes/

Several issues manifested themselves.

1. When I attempted to press enter on the link "What's New In...." under its heading, it didn't do anything. I think it's one of those Javascript controls that is supposed to expand the information underneath; when I opened it in IE, the info was right below the link. Kind of ridiculous I have to use IE to view Firefox's changelog! *grin*

2. I think this is a W.E. issue, or an issue with me: when I was at the top of the page, I did a ctrl+shift+F search for "What's New" without the quotes of course and it said "not found" even though it was on the page. I checked several times but it still didn't work and I think I'm typing it right. This was the case in IE and in Firefox. So either I'm an idiot typing it wrong or something is up!

This issue with links not always being activated when pressing enter on them occurs often. Sometimes routing the mouse cursor to it and clicking works; other times, it does not. I generally find the stability of Firefox 3 to be less than earlier versions. Let's see how this 3.0.1 performs.

Thanks,
Robby
