Control-shift-f will label these by opening an edit box and allowing you
to type in a name. The information is stored in the .we association file
automatically. If what you are trying to label is a graphic, you will
need to have the mouse pointer sitting on the graphic, then press
control-shift-e and typing in the name. Graphic labels will be stored in
the .gra file used for the set so it's best to have one opened for the
specific set so it does not go in the global graphic entries.

I am having a look at the calendar that has been put together for
thounderbirs and there are some buttons that are buttons but I'm
un-sure how to label them.
