Sorry I wasn't very clear in my message. I rebooted after the install of beta 3 when it told me to, but I haven't rebooted since then. So I've been running in the same windows session pretty much all day. The only reason I mentioned that is in the past I've had some post installation weirdness until I restarted a second time. Or in this case, maybe there is another program running that is slowing things down. You really should reboot immediately after installing any Window-Eyes upgrade if you plan on running Window-Eyes during or after the upgrade.
