I think it's time I told the list some good things about the GWMicro staff
and WindowEyes 7. After I updated all the scripts that I'm now running and made
sure all the setfiles I use are current, things are running fine here. I
also e-mailed support about my ongoing problems and they patiently gave me
helpful hints all through this. I now know that one script which isn't running
right can make W-E crash or run badly and although someone suggested that
you'll
know which script is creating the problem because you'll get a script error,
that isn't always true. Sometimes you get no indication of what's wrong. You
only get a crash or a loss of speech. I'll admit that sometimes I got very
frustrated but since I've been a computer programmer for a number of years, I
know quite a bit about being frustrated when your computer doesn't do what
you want it to and you can't figure out why. But all's well on my system now
and I want to thank the GWMicro staff for their patience and help. For those
of
you still having problems, hang in there and keep telling the staff what
you're experiencing and when you get it working, you'll see all this fine
tuning
is worth it.
