The following gets a bit geeky, so apologies for that. Firefox doesn't support headers and id attributes in tables. Therefore, on those rare occasions that they are included in the code, you miss out on their benefit. They are especially good for more complex tables and, because I've written a procedure to include them automatically, I rather like them.
Firefox also doesn't support Flash as well as IE, although this has improved with Window-Eyes V7. I also miss the reassuring click that IE provides as a link is activated. On the other hand, some of the Firefox extensions are great. For people writing code or checking other people's, the Web Developer Toolbar is a wonderful resource. In summary, then, there is certainly no reason not to install Firefox. You'll find some sites that present better with it and others that work better with IE, so you can choose according to the situation. Regarding the question between Firefox vs. IE, I haven't noticed _to many differences between the 2. Admittedly, I haven't much toyed with Firefox 3 with Win-Eyes 7.0 but I did install Firefox and found it to fill any gaps where IE lacked. Good question, Rebecca.
