rebooting the computer sounds rather drastic, don't you think? If the
setup program is running, just press X to exit it, then you can go
explore the disc.

another way if the shift doesn't work is to exit the setup, leave the cd
in the drive and reboot the computer. then you can open the my computer
icon to view the files on the cd. but do not press enter on the cd drive
letter or you will start the install again. instead open the files pull
down with the alt key and use explore option.

*Subject:* opening the we70 cd
Hi:
Running xp pro and I want to look at the files on the window eyes cd
to find a file.
Some cd openings come up with a choice of playing, looking and so
forth, and in some cases this does not happen. At one time you
could hold down the shift key, but, now it does not work.
I can't look at the we70 install disk as it keeps the audio.
Version 7 i installed with no problem, I just want to be able to
look at the disk as well as some other cd's.
thanks
Don
