So are you saying that you only hear the indexes, but not the
information? We have other OLB users on the list so perhaps they
will have ideas.

One of my associates seems to be having the opposite problem. In MS Word's
Open dialog box, she is hearing like 1 of 200, 2 of 200, et cetera, but that
is all. It is not reading the name of the folder or file, just its number.

Having brought up your system with Window-Eyes running, 1. press
insert+v
for verbosity.
2. you will be in a groups list box.
3. down arrow to miscellaneous.
4. tab until you find
current index.
5. check the related check box.
6. tab to o'kay.
7 press enter.
