its touch and go. it depends on which programs are being used. my hp 6210 scans fine with vista paint and photo gallery? but i have to unload w e to use any of the hp printer software for faxing and scanning photos. also when useing openbook 8. even with xp sp2 everything but the faxing works with speech. ----- Original Message ----- From: Raul A. I recently purchased an hp Deskjet F-4200 printer/scanner and the unit works fine on my Vista machine. There was a version of some of the hp scanning drivers and software which was not compatible with any accessible technology which uses MSAA. This means that people using Window-Eyes or even Narrator would have a bad time. However I can't remember which version of HP printers had the bad stuff.
