Hi Jim,
I am having the same problem you are having. I have concluded the only
way to uninstall is to do it in safe mode. I stopped al of the features in
Avast and have the utility and as soon as I can get sighted assistance I
will put this computer in safe mode and run the utility to uninstall it.

Just checked the archives and found a few messages on this subject but no
answer. Like gill I have an issue where I check the self defense box to

disabled and then press the space bar on ok. Go back in to the dialog it

checked again every time.
Doing this to try the gree trial of nod32.
