I love the idea of automatic script updates, but I can think of one possible problem. Let us suppose that you are using a script with a certain version of an application. A new version of the app comes out, necessitating changes to the script. You, however, do not upgrade to the new version of the app, because you are perfectly happy with what you have. Under the scenario where the scripts auto-update, wouldn't you end up with a problem?
