If the image is  not a link then using G or Shift G in MSAA goes to the graphic 
but when I hit right click Shift F10 the popup menu comes up not for the 
picture.

Just try it on the first help topic in WE manual i.e. Press F6 for bla bala 
then hit G untill you go to Icon1 then right click.
