When you speak of Outlook not reading HTML messages, I suppose you are talking about Outlook 2007 not reading complicated HTML messages. This is not a window-eyes problem. it is a issue with Microsoft Word. for security reasons Microsoft word does not support certain HTML features. this causes word to not render the HTML correctly. The solution to this is to select the option to view in browser. This will show the complicated HTML message in your default web browser. The Internet Explorer focus issues are not. window-eyes issues, either. They are problem that Microsoft is aware of and hopefully will fix in Windows 7. So for the beta testers out there using Windows 7. Have the Explorer and Internet Explorer focus issues been corrected as of yet? Hope this helps!

In discussing this issue with Gw Micro Support, they say they are aware of the problem and plan to look into it. I hope they fix this soon as well as fix the probme with focus in IE-7 and the problem of Outlook not reading messages when reading HTML messages. They suggested either redrawing the screen or turning Browse mode off and on as a work-around, and I've found that both suggestions work. John Riehl _____ From: Don H [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2009 10:08 AM To: gwmicro Subject: screen redraws needed more often I am running WE 7.01 on a XP system. Seems that after installing WE 7.01 I need to redraw the screen more and more when switching between web pages using IE 7. I will either go back a page or click on a link on a web page and WE will still be reading the page I just left. A screen redraw is needed to get it to read the current page. No particular web site causes it more than any other. Is this part of the broken browse mode? Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
