Well, most music players playback through the standard sound card, and it does not matter which one you have currently selected. I have 3 sound cards installed and it just works fine. The only thing I can imagine is that your sound player has set the sound playback to the realtek sound card. I would recommend to check the preferences of your player to set the playbak to the standard sound card. I can control through the Control Panel, Audio Tab, which sound card plays the WE 7.01 output by selecting either Real Tek rear output or SB Live External. However, the music, using WMP or Winamp, will only come through the Real Tek rear output. So, I am able to achieve my goals in reverse. I can separate speech and music, but like I say, in reverse. I can have music only through the Real Tek rear output and voive only through the SB Extenal, but I can not figure out how to reverse this scenario. Additional assistance greatly appreciated!
