Hi Laurie, Well, if you wish to manage a checking, savings or credit card account, you can manage this with Quicken. I would definitely avoid the current version of Quicken, which is 2009. I have not been able to set up accepting transactions into my register after downloading them with this version. I had used 2006 successfully for that purpose. I use Money Talks from Aph now, but still retain my registers in Quicken as their report functions are superior to MoneyTalks reports in my view. If you wish to maintain a budget or manage investments, Quicken will likely be a dismal failure for you. Intuit isn't interested, nor have they ever been interested in accessibility matters. AS someone who's used and purchased virtually every version of Quicken for over 20 years, I've decided that the last upgrade I purchased will be the final one for this product unless this app is scripted or Intuit changes its philosophy regarding accessibility. The problem I see with scripting is that Intuit updates Quicken every year, and if GW's scripting is at all similar to Jaws, the scripts would likely need to be updated each time a new version of Quicken comes out. I know this is getting long, but I hope this gives you some sense as to where things stand with Quicken and accessibility.
