Hi,

Well, if you want to stay in the list of folders you'll just have to change 
email programs.  It's one of the several dumb things windows mail does.  

I've finally gotten more or less used to it since changing mail clients can be 
a hassle.  

And, after all, microsoft knows more about what I should or shouldn't like than 
I do.  <sarcasm>

  When I am browsing the3 folder list I am automaticall taken in to the 
contents of any folders that contain messages.
  I would like to be able to browse through the folder list not having to tab 
out of any folder containing messages.
