Just a note regarding Google Desktop for those of us outside of the
United States. There is a version, sorry I don't know which one, that
creates a backup of your computer as a service for off-site storage.
This is a concern for those of us outside of the U. S., because once
data is stored on those servers belonging to an American company, it
then is subject to the patriot act. This may not be a concern for many
of us, however you need to check with your employer to be sure this is
OK.

Hello there. Has anyone tried out google desktop with window eyes? I
know with practice the toolbar for internet explorer does work, just by
using the mouse keys to figure everything out, is the desktop
application worth it, since it does have a lot of stuff and will it work
with xp?
