Hi! I am hoping I can get some answers out here.

I am receiving Window-eyes error reports on occasion after I shut down and
reboot my Dell XPS-410 desktop computer upgraded from Windows XP Media
Center Edition to Windows Vista Home Premium Edition in March of 2007. I
also have a Dell laptop XPS-M1530 purchased in December of 2008 with Windows
Vista Home Premium and Window-eyes 7.01 and don't generate the error reports
at all.

Here's what happens. I have used my desktop for a while. I press alt-f4 to
get to the options such as shut down, sleep, restart, etc. I press enter.
I have figured out than an error is going to be generated because I hear a
distinct sound followed by a message telling me an error report is being
prepared to be created and then the machine shuts down. Also, some times I
have had to press enter twice to get the computer to shut down. I dread
hearing that error sound so I occasionally turn the volume down so as not to
hear it, smile.

Is Window-eyes 7.01 causing the sound and the errors or is it Windows Vista?
Why do these errors only occur on my desktop? If the error reports help the
developers correct stability, 7.1 can't come soon enough, smile. I don't
recall having so many errors during my nearly 10 years of using Window-eyes.
I realize we all have to wait, but these error reports are becoming
frustrating.

Oh, after I say yes to send the error reports, the words Window-eyes error
reporting are repeated several times. Is this normal? Sorry for the long
post.

Mike M.
