Well to me, the word actually means about, or a rough estimate!

Also, how can you sit in your sheltered little World and say that about the
economy.  Of course todays economy will determine whether my approximation
is just about right or way off the mark.  Particularly in these times where
the pound can lose 3c or 4c on the dollar and gain 5 or 6c just 24 hours
later.  Heres a slogan from a few years back that you should be able to
identify with in more ways than one, "IT’S THE ECONOMY STOOPID!)  And before
you become pedantic again and correct me for the wrong spelling of stupid, I
meant to spell it that way, so don't bother!

and what today's economy has to do with your inability to distinguish
