Well, it looks like windows xp or windows vista. The interfaces are very similar. The start menu is like the vista start menu, you do not have the option to change the start menu back from the windows 7 menu to the old style used in win95,98me xp... Like you do in vista or in windows xp. The stability is amazing. To me it is far faster and more stable since windows xp. It will take very little learning curve to go from windows xp/vista to 7... There are definate accessibility fixes, like the icons on the system tray always read all of the time. I haven't had a icon read unnamed or blank since I've installed windows 7. Hope that helps.
